Who doesn’t love a new reason to celebrate?! From exotic dragon dances to dim sum, February 16th kicks off two weeks of fabulous festivities to start the Lunar New Year. An explosion of fireworks, twinkling lights and lanterns, it’s a breathtaking sight of bold colors, especially black, gold and red – the Chinese color for good luck.

Beyond the gorgeous spectacle and events, the Lunar New Year is a perfect excuse to hit reset, because let’s face it regular New Year’s celebrations and resolutions sometimes don’t turn out exactly as we want them. The Lunar New Year is a time when families clean up their homes to make way for incoming good fortune. So let’s start afresh and out with the old, in with the new…shoes!
