This month, fall madly in love with…YOURSELF.
Start by taking care of your health! More than just about Valentine’s Day, February is also American Heart Month. The heart is the number one cause of death of women in the United States. So, let’s see what steps we can take this month to reboot our commitment to our hearts.
My ABC’s of Heart Health:
A is for APPLES and all the fresh fruits and vegetables you should eat in place of processed foods. If it comes in a package, it’s probably not healthy for your heart, or your hips.
B is for BURN some calories with moderate walking, at least 30 minutes per day.
C is for COMFORTABLE shoes so you can walk more. If your shoes are both pretty and comfortable, you won’t even need to change them.
